Registered Nurse - Day Shift

Provide general medical care for clients at Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager, including completing assessments, administering and ordering/refilling medications per physician’s orders, reviewing physician’s orders and medical record reviews, recording complaints, observing client behavior and collecting/reviewing lab samples/results. Initiates and maintains relations with Admissions Director and clinical team; assists with settling in new clients, offers social/emotional support, crisis intervention as needed, supports development of treatment plans, updates plans and privilege lists weekly, maintains a clean and safe environment, ensures secure storage of medications/records, documents thoroughly and timely, follows shift-coverage protocols, provides discharge planning and health-te Wellness guidance, and participates in staff meetings/trainings. Must be licensed as an RN in Alabama; an Associate’s degree in Nursing is required, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Drivers license and vehicle insurance are required. The role emphasizes clinical collaboration, patient support, and adherence to policies and procedures within an At-Will employment framework.
