Registered Nurse - Day Shift

Job Summary
As a leader of the therapeutic care team, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct care for patients during observation and medical detoxification, collaborates with physicians, counselors, behavioral health technicians, and other health professionals to coordinate, plan, and deliver patient care using a multidisciplinary, patient-centered approach. Responsibilities include monitoring withdrawal symptoms, administering medications, obtaining nursing history, performing assessments, interpreting vital signs and lab results, following physician orders, ensuring infection control and adherence to policies, charting in EMR, participating in handoff meetings, supervising BHT staff, educating patients and families about treatment options and risks of drug addiction, and supporting CLAS-related initiatives. The role requires clinical rounds participation, effective communication, leadership, and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license to practice nursing in the state of Arizona
- Current CPR certification
- Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Crisis Prevention Intervention CPI
- Detox experience 1 year (preferred)
- Psychiatric experience 1 year (preferred)
