Job Summary
RN provides direct nursing care to children and adolescents with autism, developmental disabilities, and behavioral health needs in a structured inpatient setting; administer medications and treatments; monitor health status and behavior; support behavioral interventions; collaborate with multidisciplinary team; educate families; maintain EMR documentation; ensure safety and compliance with HIPAA; participate in patient safety initiatives and quality improvement; promote a safe, structured environment; new graduates are welcome to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas
- BLS certification
- ACLS and PALS required within 45 days of hire
- De-escalation training required within 30 days of hire
- Associate Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Experience with pediatric, behavioral health, developmental disabilities, or inpatient care preferred
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
