Job Summary
Administer and implement medical and therapeutic programs ordered by the physician while developing individualized nursing care plans. Provide emergency care for stabilization of multiple trauma or critically ill medical/obstetrical patients until medical evacuation is arranged. Deliver inpatient and outpatient/emergency care, assist with planning, and implement comprehensive family services. Maintain optimal health for clients through treatment services and health education. This L09 Registered Nurse position at Dawson City Community Hospital requires a Diploma/Baccalaureate degree, current YRNA registration, and CPR certification. The role offers an hourly pay range of $49.73 - $66.42, a sign-on bonus, relocation allowance, subsidized housing, and generous vacation time.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
- currently registered with Yukon Registered Nurses Association (YRNA)
- current C.P.R certification
- valid Yukon Driver's License
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certificate
- minimum of (2) two – (3) three years of experience in acute care nursing
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in A.C.L.S.
- N.R.P
- T.N.C.C
