Registered Nurse

Float Registered Nurse for DaVita dialysis clinics in the greater Burnsville, MN area. Responsible for supervising and performing direct patient care including vital signs, initiation and termination of dialysis, dialysis therapy planning, medication administration, documentation, and communication of emergencies to supervisors and physicians. Provides patient education on renal disease and prescribed dialysis treatment, participates in developing and implementing the patient’s plan of care, and supports ongoing training during a 9–12 week onboarding. Schedule requires flexibility across mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays with 3–4 shifts per week (10–12 hours/shift) and a 20–30 minute travel radius within the home clinic.
