Administer bedside patient care in a hospital or inpatient/observation setting under the supervision of a preceptor, leader, and/or charge nurse. Assess patients' needs, develop individualized plans of care, and evaluate progress toward expected outcomes. Function as an advocate for patients and families while documenting care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and consistent manner. Prioritize patient care in accordance with Evidence-Based Practice Standards and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to manage the unit. Maintain competency in nursing skills and patient care equipment, ensuring all regulatory standards are met.
