Job Summary
Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in the CVPCU while coordinating a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient outcomes. Monitor and interpret patient conditions in real-time, acting as the vital link between patients and the medical team through proactive communication and precise documentation. Advocate for the patient's journey by initiating and managing comprehensive discharge plans to ensure a safe transition from hospital to home. This day shift, full-time role at Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD requires a licensed RN with BLS certification and at least one year of acute care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Certified BLS Provider specializing in Health Service Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- military CPR-First Aid training
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition 'Compact State' obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing at date of hire
- Minimum 1 year acute care RN experience
