Job Summary
Obtain comprehensive patient data from the patient, family, and healthcare providers to develop a holistic picture of needs. Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and identify optimal outcomes in collaboration with the interprofessional team. Develop and implement care plans using clinical judgment to promote a safe environment, while evaluating progress toward goals. Contribute to quality nursing practice by integrating evidence-based strategies and maintaining current competence. Communicate effectively across all practice areas and apply scientific knowledge to critical care nursing based on age-specific and clinical needs. Maintain a constant state of alertness and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) - Emergency Nurses Association (ENA)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - American Academy Pediatrics (AAP)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - Emergency Nurses Association (ENA)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Essentials - American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
