Job Summary
Per Diem, Registered Nurse – ICU/critical care, night shift (1900-0730) in Evanston, Glenview, Highland Park, and Skokie. Responsibilities include independently providing safe, effective nursing care for an ICU patient population, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care, guiding assigned unlicensed assistive personnel, collaborating with the healthcare team, and contributing to safety and high-quality patient experiences. Requires IL RN license, NLN-accredited nursing education, BLS/CPR and ACLS certification, and at least two years of recent acute care CC experience with telemetry competence.
Required Qualifications
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL
- BSN strongly preferred
- BLS/CPR ACLS Certification for the Healthcare Provider required
- Graduate of NLN accredited school of nursing required
- Two years recent acute care clinical experience in critical care; Telemetry competence required; Telemetry competence must be demonstrated within 14 days of hire by passing online telemetry test
