Job Summary
Per Diem Night Shift Registered Nurse - ICU: Independently provide safe, effective nursing care for an ICU patient population, applying the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Lead and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care, communicate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care, and contribute to safety and high-quality patient experiences. Requires IL RN licensure, NLN-accredited nursing education, BLS/CPR ACLS, and at least two years of recent acute-care critical care experience with telemetry proficiency. Location-focused per diem assignments across Evanston, Glenview, Highland Park, Skokie, and Morton Grove, IL; night shift with weekend/holiday requirements per level agreement.
Required Qualifications
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL
- Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing
- BSN strongly preferred
- BLS/CPR ACLS Certification for the Healthcare Provider required
- Experience: a minimum of two years of recent acute care clinical experience in critical care; Telemetry competence required; Telemetry competence must be demonstrated within 14 days of hire by passing online telemetry test
