Job Summary
Provide safe, effective nursing care for ICU/CCU patients on the night shift as a Per Diem Registered Nurse. Independently apply the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel; communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes; contribute to safety and high-quality patient experiences. Requires IL nursing licensure, NLN-accredited nursing education with BSN preferred, BLS/CPR and ACLS certification, and a minimum of two years of recent acute care critical care experience with telemetry competence; per diem schedules across Evanston, Glenview, Highland Park, and Skokie.
Required Qualifications
- License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
- Certification: BLS/CPR ACLS Certification for the Healthcare Provider required
- Experience: A minimum two year of recent acute care clinical experience in critical care. Telemetry competence required. Telemetry competence must be demonstrated within 14 days of hire by passing online telemetry test.
