Job Summary
Per Diem, Night shift Registered Nurse on a Critical Care/ICU unit. Independently provide safe, effective nursing care; plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process; supervise assigned unlicensed assistive personnel; collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes and safety. Requires IL RN licensure, NLN-accredited nursing education, BLS/CPR and ACLS, and telemetry competence within 14 days of hire; BSN strongly preferred. Per Diem commitment and night hours available across Evanston, Glenview, Highland Park, and Skokie with variable weekly schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL
- Graduate of NLN accredited school of nursing
- BLS/CPR ACLS Certification for the Healthcare Provider
- Minimum two years of recent acute care clinical experience in critical care; Telemetry competence demonstrated within 14 days of hire via telemetry test
