Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Job Summary
Provide expert, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring, advanced therapies, and complex interventions in the ICU; perform comprehensive assessments, identify clinical deterioration, and initiate timely interventions; safely manage advanced technologies including ventilators, invasive lines, haemodynamic monitoring, and continuous infusion therapies; contribute to rapid response and emergency situations with clinical precision; collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care and continuous improvement; requires current AHPRA RN registration and minimum 2 years ICU experience. The role is a permanent full-time position in Ipswich, Queensland, with in-person work arrangements and a salary range discussed with the employer.
Required Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an ICU or high-dependency unit
- Advanced clinical assessment skills and the ability to respond quickly in high-pressure situations
- Post graduate certificate course in Critical care is highly considered
