Job Summary
Multisite Float Registered Nurse (Night shift) within Lehigh Valley Health Network's SEAL Team Float across Medical Surgical/Telemetry, Progressive Care/CCU, and Emergency Department. Provides professional nursing care with assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation; mentors interns and new colleagues; participates in performance improvement; requires 2 years RN experience, PA license, BLS/ACLS, stroke/trauma certifications, and completion of dysrhythmia and critical care courses. Travel to multiple Lehigh Valley sites as needed; full-time with shift variety and deployment options; strong emphasis on teamwork, safety, and patient education.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
- Knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice.
- Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care.
- Successful completion of additional orientation programs related to specialty.
- Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies.
- Basic computer skills.
- BLS - Basic Life Support AHA - American Heart Association Upon Hire
- RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
- 2 years relevant RN experience.
- BLS, ACLS certifications.
- Stroke certification.
- Completion of a dysrhythmia course.
- Completion of critical care course such as ECCO or have CCRN certification.
- Completed Trauma course or TNCC certification.
