Job Summary
Evaluate and monitor patients' progress, identify sudden changes in medical condition, and care for patient needs throughout recovery in the ICU. Create and implement effective care plans while acting as the information conduit between doctors, patients, and families. Manage cases across cardiovascular, neurosurgery, bariatric, complex surgical, and medical cohorts. Requires minimum 2 years' experience post-CCRN qualification, current AHPRA registration, and essential postgraduate Critical Care Nursing qualification. Availability to work day and night shifts including on-call participation. Full-time or part-time roles available.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' experience post-CCRN qualification
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- You will hold a postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Nursing (essential)
- Solid understanding of health information structures and technology
- Availability to work day and night shifts including on-call participation
- Annual Influenza vaccination
- Satisfactorily clear a National Police Check
- Valid employee Working with Children Check
