Registered Nurse Critical Care (ICU) - Float Pool

Registered Nurse – ICU Float Pool position in Cranston, RI. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care on a Nursing Unit; supervising non-RN personnel; serving as Charge Nurse when assigned; providing neuro-focused care including airway management, suctioning, ventilator care, and care for trached/neuro patients; implementing the Plan of Care, coordinating education for patients and families, and ensuring smooth operation of the unit. Requires BSN preferred, CT RN license, 1 year acute nursing experience, and BLS certification. Responsibilities also include precepting new staff, contributing to discharge planning, and participating in care for patients across the neuro spectrum; familiarity with EHR and education programs like TIA.
