Registered Nurse Critical Care (ICU) – Float Pool

Registered Nurse with Critical Care (ICU) responsibilities across Cardiac and Neuro units, including supervision of non-RN personnel, charge nurse duties, and precepting new staff. Delivers comprehensive patient care plans, coordinates with healthcare team, and educates patients and families. Maintains competencies in neuro assessment, airway management, ventilator care, and specialized devices (e.g., tracheostomy, halo brace, LVAD/ECMO considerations). Emphasizes adherence to nurse practice standards and organizational values (integrity, patient-centered care, respect, accountability, compassion). Supports clinical advancement through programs and contributes to performance improvement and patient discharge planning.
