Registered Nurse - Critical Care (ICU) Float Pool. Responsibilities include assessing patients’ physical and psychosocial condition, developing and documenting a care plan, coordinating with the healthcare team, implementing and evaluating care, educating patients and families, and facilitating discharge. Responsibilities also include serving as a preceptor to new staff and acting as charge nurse as needed. Demonstrates competency in neuro care, including neuro assessment, airway management for neuro patients, care of tracheostomy/ventilator patients, and execution of the Tia teaching program; performs pharyngeal, endotracheal, and tracheostomy suctioning per policy; and cares for patients with Halo braces. Requires BSN preferred; CT RN license; 1 year acute nursing experience; and BLS. Location indicated Petrolia, TX, US.
