Registered Nurse Critical Care (ICU) - Float Pool

Registered Nurse in Critical Care (ICU) Float Pool role providing patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care with supervision and potential to function as preceptor and charge nurse. Responsibilities include supervising non-RN staff on the unit, coordinating care across units, documenting plans of care, ensuring patient readiness for discharge, and educating patients and families. Requires knowledge of neuro care (neuro assessment, halo brace, tracheostomy care, pharyngeal/endotracheal suctioning), ventilator management, and collaboration with healthcare team. BSN preferred; 1 year NICU experience required; BLS required; CT RN license referenced in posting. Ability to use electronic patient records and demonstrate customer service, teamwork, and professional development.
