Registered Nurse Critical Care (ICU) - Float Pool

Registered Nurse Critical Care (ICU) - Float Pool. Provides assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and supervision of patient care on a nursing unit/department. May supervise non-RN personnel and serve as charge nurse. Willingness/ability to work on other nursing units as distribution of staff and patients requires. Demonstrates neuro skills (neuro assessment, halo brace care) and airway management (including tracheostomy suctioning and ventilator care). Keeps patient and family informed; collaborates with healthcare team; acts as preceptor to new staff and supports education of patients and families. Requires BSN preferred; 1 year neonatal ICU RN experience; CT RN license; BLS; proficiency with electronic patient records; ability to meet performance expectations in customer service and teamwork.
