Registered Nurse Critical Care (ICU) - Float Pool

Registered Nurse – Critical Care (ICU) Float Pool. Performs comprehensive neuro and general critical-care nursing for patients, including neuro assessments, airway management, tracheostomy care, suctioning, and ventilator care. Provides supervision of non-RN personnel, serves as charge nurse as assigned, and supports patient-centered care planning and discharge readiness. Demonstrates competency in neuro-focused care, respiratory support, halo brace care, and uses the Tia teaching program. Plays a role in education and precepting new staff and contributes to performance improvement through documentation, collaboration with the healthcare team, and education of patients and families.
