Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care in the Critical Care department while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act. Deliver patient support across 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Maintain current Pennsylvania licensure and hold Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications. Manage acute care responsibilities for patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing
- Current Pennsylvania licensure
- Other state licensure as required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment
- One year recent experience in Critical Care
- One year recent experience in Cath lab
- One year recent experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit
- One year recent experience in Emergency Department
- Two years of telemetry nursing experience
- Three years of experience in Medical Surgical Nursing
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing
- Two years of acute care nursing experience
- One year of Critical Care nursing experience
- Certification in this specialty area
