Job Summary
Conduct critical care float coverage across ICU, ED, and PCU units, providing safe, timely, and evidence-based patient care while integrating assessment data with clinical judgment. Maintain licensure in good standing and complete mandatory training including ACLS, PALS, MERT, CRRT, and TNCC within specified timelines. Work nights from 7p to 7:30a Monday through Sunday, with three weekend shifts per month and holidays distributed equitably. Required Qualifications
- Active New York State Nursing License in good standing
- 1-year Critical Care or SDU experience
- Nights (7p-7:30a) Monday - Sunday with 3 weekend shifts per month (Friday & Saturday)
- Holidays distributed on an equitable basis
- GHMC MAIN CAMPUS
Desired Qualifications
- Baccalaureate (preferred), Master's, or Doctorate Degree in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing
- American Nurses Association endorsed Certifications or Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses Certification
- Incumbents previously trained within the ICU's, PCU, CDA 2 West, ED
