Job Summary
Supervise staff, monitor patients, and implement treatments while developing care plans for long-term needs. Administer medications, communicate with physicians, and document all care performed and observations of resident status promptly in clinical records. Participate in medication management by administering prescribed drugs, observing resident responses, identifying adverse reactions, and maintaining accurate narcotic records. Assist with emergency measures, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and ensure compliance with company policies, the Nurse Practice Act, and federal/state guidelines. Maintain confidentiality regarding resident information and provide the highest quality of care to all residents.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN Licensure in the State employed
- Valid CPR Certification
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Six months experience in a long-term care environment
