Job Summary
Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs, consulting with Charge Nurse(s) as necessary. Implement medical plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures. Count controlled substances and implement clinical and technical aspects of care per established policies. Document nursing encounters using the SOAP form and attend mandatory staff meetings. Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, and supervisory personnel. Provide patient education and activities in accordance with competencies. Work under supervision to ensure optimal patient outcomes through excellent communication and critical thinking. Rotate weekends and holidays in 12-hour shifts from 0600-1830.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification
- 0.9 FTE
- 12-hour shifts
- 0600-1830
- Rotating Weekends
- Holiday Rotation
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience
