Job Summary
Provide patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in a correctional healthcare setting. Work under supervision of Charge Nurse(s) to support patient care and education; administer medications and treatments per provider orders and facility protocols; assist with diagnostic testing, procedures, and patient monitoring; respond to patient needs; document nursing care accurately; communicate effectively with healthcare and correctional staff; maintain compliance with safety, security, and clinical guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in VT
- CPR Certification
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Ability to work in a correctional setting
- Active RN License (VT)
