Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in a correctional setting using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Administer medications and treatments as ordered; document patient care accurately and in a timely manner; support patient education and care planning within scope of practice. Work collaboratively with charge nurses and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient outcomes. Maintain safety and security standards within the correctional facility environment. Shift: 12-hour night shift. Contract: 8 weeks. Location: Milwaukee, WI.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Active RN license in the state of employment.
- BLS certification preferred/required in posting
