Job Summary
Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs by consulting with Charge Nurse(s) and other staff. Implement medical plans through administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures. Count controlled substances and document nursing encounters using the SOAP form of charting as required by policy. Communicate critical information to nursing staff, physicians, and supervisory personnel to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Work under supervision to provide patient education and activities while maintaining current RN licensure and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification
- Reside in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience
