Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill cardiac patients in the Coronary Care Unit Intermediate. Provide direct patient care while directing family teaching and guiding activities of other nursing personnel. Maintain standards of care and communicate with physicians regarding changes in clinical condition, cardiac monitoring, diagnostic results, and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment. Requires current state RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and previous acute care experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred
- Ventilator Management experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
