Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Cardiac Care/CCU responsible for planning and delivering patient-centered nursing care in the Cardiac Unit, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, performing comprehensive assessments, developing and evaluating care plans, coordinating discharge planning, maintaining detailed documentation, and adhering to NSQHS standards and immunisation policies. Requires a minimum of 2 years' coronary care experience or cardiothoracic/cardiovascular nursing postgraduate qualification, strong critical thinking and time-management skills, and a valid visa to work in Australia. Emphasizes teamwork, professional development, and commitment to high-quality cardiac care.
Required Qualifications
- Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- National Criminal History Check
- Specialist qualifications and/or experience as appropriate to the area of work
- A valid working with children check
