Job Summary
Operating Room RN on night shift at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. Facilitates efficient utilization of the operating room, coordinates with the Support Associate to receive/make calls and schedule cases, ensures patient flow aligns with the OR schedule, and communicates with team to support scheduling. Requires OR nursing experience and current RN licensure. Education includes High School Diploma or GED; nursing degree required with BSN preferred. Reinstatement considerations for lapsed licensure apply. Certifications ENPC/TNCC/CEN are preferred; NC curricula for restrictive interventions must be completed within 3 months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 year Operating Room experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN licensure in North Carolina or appropriate state
- Education: High School Diploma or GED; 4 year/Bachelor's degree preferred
- Board-approved refresher course if license inactive for five years
- One year relevant experience preferred
- ENPC, TNCC, or CEN preferred
- NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire, required
