Job Summary
Registered Nurse needed for Community Health Center in Evanston, IL. Provide nursing care under the direction of Practice Manager and Physicians, perform phone triage, room patients, review test results, handle prior authorizations, convey plans of care, educate patients, and respond to NorthShore Connect messages. Chart in Epic EMR. Licensure in IL required; NLN-accredited nursing program completion required with BSN strongly preferred; BLS/CPR certification required. Prior office or hospital nursing experience (1 year) required. Hours: 24 hrs/week, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Mon-Fri; travel based on department need. Benefits available through Endeavor Health.
Required Qualifications
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL
- Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing
- BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider
- 1 year nursing experience in an office or hospital setting
