Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in an outpatient clinic setting using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and therapeutic interventions. Obtain patient consent, document health histories and vital signs, and administer prescribed medications while monitoring treatment progress. Educate patients and families on health maintenance and manage acute or chronic conditions. Prioritize triage, coordinate care with physicians and community resources, and participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Track quality assurance data and maintain medical records using automated systems. Perform general nursing care, procedures, and therapies consistent with licensure and training.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS)
- One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
