Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in an outpatient clinic setting by obtaining health histories, vital signs, and chief complaints. Administer prescribed medications, execute treatments, and monitor patient responses while ensuring confidentiality and obtaining consent. Educate patients and families on health maintenance and manage acute or chronic conditions using evidence-based practice and standing orders. Document all assessment data and interventions in automated medical record systems. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes and track quality assurance data for population health management. Maintain composure during emergency situations and perform physical tasks including transferring patients, lifting heavy supplies, and navigating crowded clinical environments.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS)
- One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
