Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care by obtaining health histories, vital signs, and documenting progress in automated medical records. Administer prescribed medications, execute treatments, and educate patients on acute and chronic condition management. Prioritize and triage care delivery while consulting physicians and community resources to resolve concerns. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and track quality assurance data. Maintain patient confidentiality, obtain consent, and promote SCL Health mission values. Perform physical duties including transferring patients, lifting supplies, and navigating crowded clinical environments.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS)
- One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
