Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in an outpatient clinic setting using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Obtain patient consent, document health histories and vital signs, and administer prescribed medications while monitoring treatment progress. Educate patients and families on health maintenance and manage acute or chronic conditions. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes and track quality assurance data. Maintain patient confidentiality, follow standing orders and protocols, and collaborate with physicians and community resources to resolve concerns. Perform general nursing care, document interventions in automated systems, and execute treatments consistent with licensure and practice guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS)
- One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
