Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in an outpatient clinic setting using the nursing process, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practice. Obtain patient consent, document health histories and vital signs, and execute prescribed treatments and medications while monitoring patient response. Educate patients and families on health maintenance and manage acute or chronic conditions. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes, track quality assurance data, and coordinate with physicians and community resources. Maintain patient confidentiality, document all interventions using automated systems, and adhere to state laws and clinic protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS)
- One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
