Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients by obtaining consent, documenting health history, and administering prescribed treatments and medications. Monitor patient response, educate families on health management, and coordinate with physicians and community resources to resolve concerns. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes, track quality assurance data, and maintain medical records using automated systems. Perform procedures consistent with training, promote SCL Health mission, and adhere to service behavior standards while managing acute and chronic conditions in an outpatient clinic setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS)
- One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
