Job Summary
Conduct continence assessments and develop management plans to support client dignity and independence. Provide expert clinical wound care and monitor participants with diverse needs. Empower clients and families through education on safe medication management, personal care techniques, and health maintenance. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with AHPRA standards and QuestCare policies. This casual role offers flexibility for a clinically competent nurse with proven experience in community nursing, wound care, and continence management to work with NDIS participants and Aged Care clients across Canberra.
Required Qualifications
- Current AHPRA Registration: A valid and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse
- Proven experience in community nursing, particularly in wound care and continence management
- A friendly and professional manner with the ability to provide clear education to clients and staff
- The ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining strong clinical oversight
- A current driver's license
- First Aid/BLS certification
- A commitment to regular manual handling training
