Registered Nurse - Communications Center (Central Triage)

Registered Nurse in a Communications Center (Central Triage) provides initial and ongoing patient assessments, utilizes clinical judgment to respond to priority patient needs, documents assessments with the interdisciplinary team, and develops individualized plans of care. Responsible for education of patients and families, leadership within the unit, and participation in performance improvement and evidence-based practice. Requires RN licensure in NY, BLS, ADN/ASN or Diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and a minimum of 3 years RN experience. In-person training lasts 4-5 months with a hybrid option after training, requiring occasional in-office presence.
