Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including patient assessment, triage, education, and coordination across the continuum of health maintenance and treatment. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate care while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Manage patient interventions for all phases of preventative care, diagnosis, and follow-up within the assigned clinical setting at Chamberlain Medical Center. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards and hold an unencumbered RN license with at least one year of experience and six months of travel history.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accepts a drug screen
- Accepts pre-employment background screening
