Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including patient assessment, education, triage, and coordination across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate care while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Manage patient care in a rotating shift schedule at Chamberlain Medical Center in Chamberlain, SD, with 36 weekly hours and a starting rate of $3010. You must have at least one year of RN experience, six months of travel experience, and live within 60 miles of the location. Contracts are 14 weeks with extension options, and eligible staff receive weekly pay with stipends included.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
