Job Summary
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions to adult oncology patients while performing patient assessments and monitoring treatment responses. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and symptom management, then communicate clinical changes and lab results to physicians. Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols while maintaining accurate documentation and HIPAA compliance. Collaborate with the oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care within the infusion center.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
Desired Qualifications
- Oncology Nursing Certification preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
