Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessments and education across the continuum of care. Perform triage, implement interventions, and ensure compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards while caring for patients in preventative, diagnostic, and follow-up phases. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within the assigned clinical setting at Chamberlain Medical Center. Requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience, with a starting rate of $3010 weekly for 14-week contracts.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
