Job Summary
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions to adult oncology patients while performing patient assessments and monitoring treatment responses. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management, ensuring adherence to safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols. Collaborate with the care team to coordinate treatment, communicate clinical changes and diagnostic results, and maintain accurate HIPAA-compliant documentation. Work 12-hour shifts in days, nights, or mid-shifts at Central Maine Medical Center's Cancer Care Center, with a sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- 2+ Years of Acute Care Experience
- Oncology or Acute Care Experience
Desired Qualifications
- Oncology Nursing Certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
