Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and manage patient education and triage. Perform patient assessment, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation across the continuum of care including preventative services, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice as designated by the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
