Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. Manage patient assessment, triage, patient education, and various nursing interventions in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. This role requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience, with applicants living at least 60 miles from the Chamberlain, SD location. Contracts are 14 weeks with rotating shifts totaling 36 hours weekly at a starting rate of $3010.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require pre-employment background screening
