Job Summary
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions to adult oncology patients while performing patient assessments and monitoring treatment responses. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management, ensuring adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols. Collaborate with the care team to coordinate treatments and communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance within the Oncology/Infusion Center. Full-time 12-hour shifts available in days, nights, or mid-shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- 2+ Years of Acute Care Experience
- Oncology or Acute Care Experience
Desired Qualifications
- Oncology Nursing Certification preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
