Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and manage patient triage, education, and follow-up across the continuum of care. Assess patients, coordinate care plans, and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards within the assigned clinical setting at Chamberlain Medical Center. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards while supporting preventative care, diagnosis, and health maintenance. Requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience; live 60 miles from the location. Contracts are 14 weeks with weekly pay including stipend.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require pre-employment background screening
