Job Summary
Registered Nurse - CNA Instructor position teaching the CNA curriculum in a long-term care setting. Instruct students to build knowledge and clinical skills aimed at passing the Wisconsin CNA licensing exam, assist with Wisconsin State CNA licensing registration, teach a minimum of 35 hours of classroom instruction, and teach skills and clinical skills. Responsible for maintaining records, evaluating student progress, communicating with students and clinical facility staff, and providing a stimulating environment that promotes patient-care concepts. Travel is required; schedule is Monday–Friday with PRN status as noted in the posting.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse License in Wisconsin or have a temporary permit from the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing
- Two years’ nursing experience and at least one year of experience in the provision of LTC facility
